 With a crazy start to the week, there was NO time for grocerie shopping. So I found myself staring into the fridge. Hoping some ingridients would jump out at me. And they did 😉 …


  • 1 very ripe (then frozen) banana
  • 3 medium beets (cooked, NOT spiced) 
  • 4 dates 
  • Tablespoon chai or flax seeds
  • Few drops vanilla essence 
  • Half cup Coconut milk 
  • Half cup water 
  • Ice cubes 

Blend together , adding the ice cubes in last. Pulse blender again and enjoy! 

I put mine in a jar. Its colour is too beautiful to hide away in a shaker 🙂
